Peter Boeré joined the IFC team in Johannesburg focusing on Health Sector Projects. Peter has worked as an STC for the IFC for global health projects for the past three years while managing his own healthcare consulting firm.
He started working in hospitals over 37 years ago in the operating theaters and since then has worked in most departments of a hospital. He started his own consulting firm in 2000, after four years with Netcare, with his first assignment being the Contract Manager for South Africa’s largest healthcare PPP project in Durban. His experience ranges from conducting Healthcare Finance for Non-Financial Manager courses, Facilitating Infrastructure Delivery Improvement Projects workshops, various private healthcare feasibility projects and general hospital management to name a few. He has worked on over 25 healthcare PPP projects.
He has work in Canada, SSA, North Africa, Eastern Europe, India and LAC.
Peter was born in South Africa, raised in Canada and returned soon after the elections in 1994, he holds a BCom from Dalhousie University and an MBA from the University of the Free State.
