Mr. Eric W. Olson is a Liberian and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management from the University of Liberia and a Certificate in Quality Assurance in Management System from the Batalas Training Institute in the United Kingdom.
He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of REO International, a 100% Liberian owned multinational independent inspection and testing company with offices in the U.S.A., Sierra Leone and Liberia. REO International celebrates its 21st anniversary this September.
Mr. Olson was Managing Director for Mano River Resources Ltd. Liberia subsidiaries for five years. During his tenure he incorporated and secured all the mineral exploration licenses and properties for each subsidiary; including Bea Mountain and Putu Range properties. He established the company’s first clinic at Larjor. He also assisted in drafting the Liberian Mining Code of 2000.
He runs his personal scholarship program for children in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, and is Chairman of the Board of Directors for Lott Carey Alumina Association U.S.A.
Mr. Olson was a presenter at the 2007 Wilmot Blyden forum of the PUL and guest speaker at the Brewerville Civic Association U.S.A. to name a few.
He is married to Verlene B. Olson and their union is blessed with three children; Edward, Erlene, Erene and two grand children.
