Caroline is bio-engineer with 8 years of experience working with rural communities on their development, the improvement of their governance and the strengthening of rural civil societies in West and Central Africa. She has built those last years, a specific experience on value chain and access to market development working with public and private actors in various countries in Africa and Asia. This strong social interest and involvement has found echo in Insuco Group. Insuco is an international company specialized in social risk assessment, whose birth and main experience was developed around the mining sector. Insuco Group has a long experience of accompanying mining firms and investors in the development of their activity along the various phases composing the project (pre-feasibility, feasibility, construction, operations and closure). Insuco supports funders, African Goverments and private mining firms in mining development in African contexts.
Insuco staff publishes regularly in scientific reviews and books about gold panning, resttlement process, CSR in mining context, impact assessment, local justice and participative processes. They give senior lecture in different Universities in Africa.
