Ritesh Anand is a successful entrepreneur and global fund manager with over 20 years experience. Ritesh is the Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Crown Agents Investment Management(CAIM), a specialist fixed income and multi asset manager for Central Banks, Pension Funds, and Sovereign Wealth Funds in Africa and the Caribbean. Established in 1833, Crown Agents has a long history of providing financial services in former British Territories. Prior to this Ritesh was the Founder and Chairman of Invictus Capital a boutique investment banking platform providing corporate finance, securities trading and asset management services in Zimbabwe. Prior to this he spent over 8 years at the world’s leading endowment, The Wellcome Trust as a Senior Investment Officer. Wellcome is considered to be one of the leading endowments in the world with assets of over $30bn. Ritesh started his career as an analyst and then fund manager at First Mutual Life in Zimbabwe.
Ritesh has sat on numerous boards including Zimbabwe Asset Management Company(Zamco), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) and former Vice Chairman of Bishopslea School. Ritesh is passionate about Africa and the development entrepreneurship in Africa. He is married with two kids and enjoys playing golf and tennis.
