Svenja has been working in Private Equity since 1998 and is a well-regarded investor in this asset class. Svenja started her professional career in 1995 in Executive Search consultancy with Ward Howell International. In 1998, Svenja Becker joined Equity Reseach & Management AG where she advised early to late stage companies in a wide breadth of business-related matters. From January 2000 till June 2015, Svenja was a Senior Investment professional at Munich-based Single Family Office EXTOREL where she was managing a Private Equity portfolio of more than 40 funds across various vintages, stages, strategies and geographies for the Strascheg family. Svenja was not only responsible for sourcing funds but also for the full due diligence process including legal and tax due diligences. As the family was also investing directly into companies, Svenja was on the board of several of these. Parallel to her responsibility in private equity, she became head for hedge fund investments from 2008 onwards. Svenja co-founded the Munich-based „Private Equity Ladies Circle“, a well reputable club for female private equity professionals. In 2015, Svenja joined Credit Suisse’s International Wealth Management as an Ambassador/Senior Representative, advising professional and semi-professional clients. The opportunity to return into the world of private equity by co-founding Moravia Capital Investments AG was so appealing that Svenja left Credit Suisse in October 2017.
Svenja received her MBA from the University of Bamberg and the University College of Swansea / Wales.
