An economist, with over 20 years of professional and academic experience with a broad range of experience dealing with all aspects of economic analysis, econometrics, research and corporate administration. He is a graduate of economics from University of Zambia; Colorado University and North Carolina A & T State University. He also has certification in PRINCE II, a tool for project management. Mr Mwila has professional experience spanning across academia; public and private sectors. He has significant experience in planning, organizing, directing and monitoring progress. Prior to joining the Energy Regulation (ERB) he was Assistant Director – Research and Policy at Zambia Revenue Authority. His employment history includes working as a full-time lecturer of Micro/Macroeconomics, price analysis, marketing and econometrics at the University of Zambia; worked at Zambia National Farmers’ Union as National Economist and later as Deputy Country representative for the USAID Famine Early System. He is a member of the Economics Association of Zambia.
