Appointed as Manager for Local Enterprise Development at Mopani in April 2017. Ms Tembo commands 13 years’ experience in programme/project leadership and oversight of multi-million dollar development projects, policy analysis, strategic planning, and local business development.

In her career as Development Advisor, she has held project management positions at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), The European Union Delegation in Zambia and COMESA and VSO.

With her drive for development, Ms Tembo is helping to shape local content in Mopani’s impact communities, promoting social entrepreneurship and facilitating processes of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources of Local businesses and communities for them to survive, adapt, and thrive in the fast-moving mining sector.
