The handbook highlights 86 projects in Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia, compiled by the PPP Units and Developers directly in 2018. It aimed at creating a tool to provide investors, project developers and other interested parties with relevant information for bankable PPP projects, thereby forming a database of projects to accelerate development and partnerships.
This handbook was drafted by the Finance & Infrastructure team at AME Trade Ltd, a UK based consultancy and the organizer of the Africa Public Private Partnerships Conference, Africa PPP. Africa PPP is an annual conference that gathers government officials, especially those involved in promoting infrastructure and PPP projects, with financial institutions, advisory firms and specialist consultants, in order to promote Africa’s bankable PPP projects.
The handbook further benefitted from the presentations made during the Africa PPP 2018, which took place 24 – 25 October 2018, in Cape Town, South Africa, with the support of Nedbank CIB, Almar Water Solutions, KPDC, Allen & Overy, Ares Prism and the NEPAD Group. It highlights 86 projects in Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia, which have been compiled by the PPP Units and Developers directly in 2018.
This booklet has been designed to assist African PPP Units and Project Developer in highlighting and marketing their priority PPP projects across all sectors. It aims at creating a tool to provide investors, project developers and other interested parties with relevant information and contact details for bankable PPP projects, thereby forming a database of projects to accelerate development and partnerships.
