MOTA 2025 – THE PREMIER ANNUAL FORUM SHOWCASING AFRICA’S MINING INDUSTRY RETURNS TO PARIS FROM THE 2 – 3 JULY 2025

2 – 3 July 2025 | Meliá Paris La Défense | Paris, France

Mining on Top Africa (MOTA), the premier African mining congress, returns to Paris, France, for its 8th annual edition, from the 2 – 3 July at Meliá Paris La Défense.

MOTA 2025 is your gateway to thriving in Africa’s rapidly evolving mining landscape. Running under the theme of “Partnering for Prosperity: Maximising the Benefits of Africa’s Geological Endowments,“ this two-day event unites industry leaders, investors, policymakers and innovators to drive sustainable, globally competitive mining across Africa.

Over the years MOTA has established itself as the premier platform for discussions on strengthening Europe-Africa alliances in the mining sector, and provides an ideal networking opportunity for European industry players to connect with mineral and metal explorations companies from across Africa

During the 2025 event, discussions will revolve around how mining industry investors can be reassured, and their capital safeguarded, even in the event of political uncertainty and upheaval. Focus will be directed on what needs to be implemented between Europe and Africa to foster mutually beneficial mining cooperation.

Our excellent line up of speakers will delve into questions such as – What is possible now, soon and further ahead for the development of Africa’s mining sector? Are global expectations currently unrealistic and unreachable or can partnerships with Europe help Africa achieve optimum mining practices aligned with international goals – how can the continents cooperate to form a win-win partnership?
